Sylvester Tetteh’s dedication to the New Patriotic Party spans several decades. Throughout his teenage years till date, he has contributed immensely to the realization of NPP’s goal of providing exceptional leadership to promote development in Ghana.

VISION 

I intend to provide exceptional leadership to help advance the interests of BortianorNgleshie Amanfro Constituents. Working closely with key figures in the Constituency, I will endeavour to promote the ideals of the New Patriotic Party, ensure that the Constituency benefits immensely from developmental projects and entrench the New Patriotic Party as the dominant Party in the Constituency.

Profile

His selfless service in the roles of polling station executive, constituency secretary, two-time parliamentary candidate, and campaign manager for the Party’s National and Regional Chairmen have won him praise and admiration.

Sylvester is a former TESCON president, an active member of the National Executive Council, National Organizational Committee, Regional Lands Commission, a board member of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) and a Trustee for the Head of State Awards Scheme. Sylvester Tetteh is well-versed in
governance, politics and administration.

Before he was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority in September 2019 by His Excellency, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, he served as the administrator of Ghana’s Electrical and Electronic Waste Management Fund.

A little over six months after his appointment to the National Youth Authority, he elevated the Authority and set it on a pedestal worthy of recommendation as the apex youth development institution in Ghana, an indisputable testimony of his leadership and administrative prowess.

 

Biography

Sylvester Tetteh is a man of unwavering loyalty and dedication. He pledged himself fully to the New Patriotic Party in 2002. Even though a youngster at the time, he never shirked opportunities to assist the party whichever way he could. Sylvester Tetteh’s admirable traits, selfless service and passion for the Party drew him closer to the then Presidential Aspirant, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo. He stood by them through it all and contributed immensely to the realization of His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s Presidential ambition.

Sylvester Tetteh is committed to continuous learning and improvement. He currently holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management with Computing and a Master’s Degree in Development Finance from the Regent University College and the University of Ghana respectively. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Management Studies.

Contribution to The Constituency

In promoting the Constituency’s political structures, Sylvester Tetteh

1. Catered for the transportation and feeding needs of electoral agents for 21 days
during the limited registration exercise in the Constituency.
2. Provided monetary support to constituency executives to monitor the limited
registration exercise.
3. Facilitated the training of polling agents.
4. Made donations towards the women’s wing inauguration.
5. Donated towards the monitoring of the Assembly Elections.
6. Made donations to the six electoral areas to support the Party’s newly elected
candidates after the Assembly Elections.
7. Donated plastic chairs to the Top Town Electoral Area.

To enhance the wellbeing of constituents and encourage growth in BNA, Sylvester Tetteh

1. Donated 50 bags of cement to the Amanfro Zongo Community.
2. Made several donations to assist the needy in the Constituency.
3. Provides assistance to some constituents to travel abroad for youth exchange
programmes.
4. Aided young people to acquire scholarships to study.
5. Donated 50 full pieces of wax print to the women’s wing.
6. Assists constituents to acquire passports.

In the bid to reduce unemployment in the constituency, Sylvester Tetteh facilitates

To enhance safety and promote interconnectivity of communities in the Constituency, Sylvester Tetteh

COVID-19 interventions

Donation of Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) to the Amanfro Polyclinic.
2. Donation of 2,000 Pieces of 1kg Rice, 2,000 Pieces of Cooking Oil, Tinned
Tomatoes and 2,000 Pieces of Indomie to Widows in the Constituency.
3. Donation of 2,000 Pieces of 5kg Rice, 1,000 Tubers of Yam and Cooking Oil to
Constituents.
4. 2,300 Daily Free Meals to Support the Needy in the Constituency for Two
Weeks During Lockdown.
5. Provision of Clean Water to Areas with Little / No Access to Potable Water
During Lockdown.
