Yesterday, 4th August 2024, will go down in history as a remarkable day for the people of Oshiyie, as our beloved Honorable Deputy Minister of Information and Member of Parliament for Bortianor Ngleshie Amanfrom Constituency, Hon. Sylvester Matthew Tetteh, graced the inauguration ceremony of the Oshiyie Football Association (OFA) at the Oshiyie Community Park.
In a display of his unwavering commitment to the development of our community, Hon. Tetteh not only honored our invitation but also generously supported the program with a donation of 2000gh. This gesture is a testament to his dedication to empowering our youth and promoting football talent in Oshiyie.
Furthermore, Hon. Tetteh’s promise to develop the Oshiyie community football park, which includes installing modern football facilities, constructing a standard pavilion, and providing training equipment, is a clear indication of his resolve to build talent and take football to higher levels in our community.
Additionally, his pledge to finance the upcoming Homowo Gala, which will feature a football tournament, cultural displays, and a grand durbar, demonstrates his commitment to promoting our cultural heritage and unity.
We are grateful for his vision and leadership in recognizing the potential of our community and investing in its growth. The New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Oshiyie is proud to have leaders like Hon.
